It’s that time of the month again when I bring you a brand new video talking about my favourites, and this month is June!

It’s been a lovely June here in England — the weather has been surprisingly kind (for once!), and I’ve had the peaceful pleasure of house-sitting for the in-laws. There’s something about spending time in someone else’s house, especially when it’s quiet and you have the space to yourself, that gives you a different kind of routine. I’ve had more time to try new things, binge a few shows, and pick out a few products and moments that have really stood out this month.

So, without further ado, here are my June favourites:

Pumpkin Crackers

These little snacks are very moreish and I just can’t seem to get enough of them! Pumpkin seeds are healthy… right?

I stumbled across these in a little health food aisle and thought I’d give them a try, expecting them to be one of those guilt-free snacks that taste like cardboard. But no — they’re actually delicious. Super light, crunchy, and they have that slightly salty, savoury kick that makes you reach for “just one more” every single time. If you’re into grazing on something during the day but want to avoid crisps or sweets, these are a great little alternative. Also, they pair perfectly with hummus or soft cheese if you’re feeling fancy.

Jurassic World

This might come as a surprise to those who know me, as I’ve never been a Jurassic fan. However, I’ve been sucked in by this new film. Chris Hemsworth might have something to do with it though.

I have to admit, I went in with very low expectations. I’ve never really been into dinosaurs or big-budget action films, but Jurassic World had a surprisingly gripping storyline and some great throwbacks to the original films. The visuals were stunning, and yes — Chris Hemsworth might’ve tipped the scales for me. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it’s definitely made my list of summer favourites. I even found myself googling dinosaur facts afterwards… who am I?

Orange is the New Black

This is a very surprising series; something you don’t expect. Personally, I can’t seem to get enough of it!

I started Orange is the New Black on a whim, and before I knew it, I was five episodes deep, completely hooked. The characters are so layered and different from your typical TV leads, and the storyline always manages to strike a balance between drama, comedy, and serious commentary. It’s a show that makes you think — but it’s also bingeable. Each episode leaves you wanting to know what’s next, and some of the plot twists… wow. If you haven’t started it yet, be warned — it’s addictive.

Scrub Your Nose In It by Soap and Glory

This little skin treat is a staple for my perfect pamper day! I love putting this on about once a week just to close off the working week and give my skin a nice refresh.

There’s just something so satisfying about giving your skin a proper scrub after a long week. Scrub Your Nose In It has the right amount of exfoliation without being harsh, and the minty scent leaves your face feeling extra clean. I tend to use it on a Friday evening — it’s become a bit of a ritual that signals the weekend has officially begun. My skin always feels soft and smooth afterwards, and it helps keep those annoying little breakouts at bay.

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

Unfortunately, reflecting on this post, this phone lasted about a week. It was later replaced by a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. I can’t quite remember what happened but I believe the battery had started draining fast and the touch screen was quite temperamental.

It’s always a bit of a let-down when a product you’re initially excited about ends up being a bit of a flop. I wanted to love the Xperia M4 Aqua — it had a sleek look, seemed water-resistant, and the camera wasn’t too bad. But sadly, the battery life was shockingly short, and the touchscreen seemed to have a mind of its own. Within days I knew it wouldn’t last long, and sure enough, I made the swap to the Z3 Compact, which was much more reliable overall.

That’s everything for June’s favourites! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these, or what your own favourites have been — whether it’s a snack, a film, or a show you can’t stop watching.
