The Body Shop – Banana Shampoo & Conditioner Review!

Hey Guys,

So it’s been a while I know, but now I’ve got this little notebook to help me with my ideas and plan little things like this!

I found this in W H Smiths yesterday and it was the only one that stood out to me so i just had to get it! I also bought a little diary but I didn’t check the dates and it starts in July so I can’t use it yet 🙁

Anyway moving onto the subject of the post!

A little while a go I was shopping with my mum in Leeds and we were near The Body Shop when I remembered that I had heard great reviews on their Banana hair products! After having a little think I decided to go in and buy it! (A little birthday gift to myself)
I’ve been using the shampoo & conditioner for about a month and a half now so I feel like I’ve had a good experience with it and I know how my hair has taken to it… and… well… it hasn’t really :/
Dont get me wrong! It’s a nice product, the scent it absolutely up there with all the great smelling products in the world, but for hair care, it’s not really done much. As you may or may not know, I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for the past year and a half and it’s been doing really well! Just after buying the product I had a little trim at the hairdressers, and before the trim I noticed a big growth in the length of my hair, but since using the stuff I haven’t noticed a difference at all.
On the other hand, it seems to be thickening my hair out a bit, which is good in one way, but not in 2 ways! Then again, my hairdresser told me that your hair goes through stages, so I’m taking that on board too. But just to be on the safe side, I bought my old shampoo that I was addicted to when I was die hard growing my hair out, and I really do think this worked for me.

In conclusion, I probably would buy this product again as I feel it does thicken my hair but I wouldn’t use it religiously, then again, everyone’s hair is different, so I’d give it a try because it’s not a bad product! The smell is lovely so it’s definitely worth it if you love banana. I personally love oranges so if I had an orange scented shampoo I would definitely use that religiously, regardless of whether it was good for my hair or not!

I also did a video on this review guys, that was last week, if you wanna know what I thought about it there please watch this!

But thats it guys! Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading! I’ll talk to you in my next one…

Much love xxx
